How to add an EPG to Jellyfin
Jellyfin has built-in live TV: add your IPTV playlist as an M3U tuner and your EPG Full link as an XMLTV guide, and every client (web, Android TV, Fire TV, Roku) shows the programme grid.
Steps
- Open Dashboard → Live TV and add your IPTV playlist under Tuner Devices (M3U Tuner).
- Under TV Guide Data Providers, click + and choose XMLTV.
- Paste your EPG Full link in File or URL and save.
- Click Refresh Guide Data. Channels are matched by name; fix any remaining ones with Map Channels.
Tips for Jellyfin
- Because EPG Full uses your provider's channel names, most channels match on their own.
- Set the guide refresh to every few hours under the scheduled tasks of the dashboard.
Which link do I use?
In your EPG Full panel you get three links: epg.xml.gz (every channel), eu.xml.gz (European channels) and world.xml.gz (other countries), plus a custom link with only the categories you choose. On slower TV boxes, add only what you need.
Channels still empty?
Let the player download the guide once (a minute on slow boxes), then refresh the EPG. Event and PPV channels show a placeholder with the event name.

No. XMLTV guide data is built in: add it under Dashboard → Live TV → TV Guide Data Providers.
Can I use the custom guide in Jellyfin?
Yes. Paste the custom guide link instead of the full one to load only the categories you picked.
